Thomas B. Steiger, Jr., has practiced law since 1973. He began his practice by working under his father, Thomas B. Steiger, Sr.

 

Mr. Steiger is a former President of the Franklin County Bar Association, and now serves as Vice President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Political Action Committee.  He is also solicitor for the Peters Township Supervisors, the Peters Township Municipal (sewer) Authority, and the Bear Valley Franklin County (water) Authority, as well as being local counsel for First Community Bank of Mercersburg.

 

Mr. Steiger graduated from Mercersburg Academy in 1966; from Princeton University (Magna Cum Laude with an AB degree in history) in 1970; and from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1973.

 

His areas of practice include elder law, estate planning, wills and estates, municipal law, administrative law, social security disability, and civil litigation (especially in the real estate area).
